Saucony, the running shoe company, wanted to include video in its marketing arsenal. Their MA ad agency, Mechanica,
asked Jay to capture the elusive passion of the long-distance runner at the Boston Marathon, the sport's "Holy Grail".
With a day's notice, Jay studied the creative brief and ran with it, producing this "conversation" - a dialog that resonates with runners everywhere.
"We Know ________, Because We Run",
was a great fit -- for Boston and for runners, too. It gives voice to that rare experi-
ence known to those hearty souls able to conquer 26.2 miles. That voice is also tailor-made for sharing on social media platforms.
This brand-building, short film was designed to accommodate Saucony's social networking campaign. The footage was also re-purposed into commercials (see "Saucony Commercials", at top).
