With a tiny budget and less than a week till the pitch, the ad agency bet Jay could dash to Poland and return with a short film about Sobieski - the King and the Vodka. An extra dose of moxie for the pitch presentation.
In less than 5 days, Jay flew to Krakow, Poland, shot, wrote and edited this 4 minute film, played at the top of the pitch meeting.
The Sobieski chiefs were more than pleased to see we'd found just the spirit they were looking for. They loved Jay's original print ads and awarded the account to the ad agency. A campaign was born.
